The Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Community User Group Georgia is a governing body of the organization, which manages the Organization's activities. The activity of the Board of Trustees is governed by the Chairman of the "Wikimedia Community User Group Georgia".
The Board of Trustees consists of 5 permanent members and 3 non-permanent members elected for two years (8 members in total), where 5 permanent members being the founders of the organization and additional persons who were appointed by the decision of current permanent members, elected members – elected by the General Forum for a term of 2 years.
The activity of the Board of Trustees is governed by the Chairman of the "Wikimedia Community User Group Georgia", who are elected by the members of the Board of Trustees from among the Board Members for a term of three years. The Chairman of the Organization, there is also a Chairman and a Member of the Board of Trustees.
Board meetings are held as needed and its competence is to determine the Organization's strategy, main direction of activities, approval of budget and expenses, develop and approve key areas of the Organization's activities, plans, budgets and targeted programs, acceptance of members into the Organization, determination of membership fee and resolution of other matters.
