Most fields are optional. If you don't have data for a particular field, leave it blank or omit it altogether.

name: Name of the staffer
link: (encouraged) Use link = m:User:YourName (WMF) to link to the staffer's global user page on meta-wiki, see the WMF-internal guide to creating a global user page.
username: (optional) If link is not set, links to User:username page on this wiki (if it exists). Most staffers should ignore this and focus on creating a nice global user page on meta-wiki.
position: Staffer's job title
team: (optional) Team name, if any
image: (optional) Image name
anchor: (optional) Override the url anchor to be something else than the name
